The Denver Taskforce is working to bring forth the implementation of our 112 recommendations that were released in May 2021. These recommendations are rooted in our collective definition of public safety and were shaped by directly impacted community members and subject matter experts. Denver voters deserve to elect public officials who share our vision for creating a Denver shaped by equitable public health and safety policies rooted in best and proven practice, racial justice, and equal opportunities for every family to thrive.
Our work to advocate for our vision in our local communities has made us well aware of our local elected officials’ vital role in driving policy around this issue. Through our work with the 2023 municipal election, we aim to empower and educate voters on how to vote for their values on public health and safety through the same community-rooted lens that guided the creation of our 112 recommendations.
